The Silverton Creative District will be hosting a private event, “An Artist Meet and Greet” on Monday June 14th from 4-6pm to welcome The Residency Project’s artists into Silverton and introduce them to our artist community. Several local artists will be meeting and mingling with The Residency Project artist group to learn from each other and get to know one another as a kick off to a two week residency retreat for four artists from around the country.

The Residency Project is an artist project founded by Sarah Umles, a generationally rooted family member in Silverton. The Residency Project is a non-profit that provides time and space in support of creative research, artistic experimentation, and arts-based community engagement.
