Winter Farmer's Market

A Winter Market will be held every third Saturday of the month, starting in November throughout the winter. Market hours are 10am-2pm. Taylor Quality Meats, High Mountain Bakery and our produce stand will be there. Rebekah and Ash will be playing live classical music too when they are available. Fundraiser Dinner for Middle School Fieldwork

The middle schoolers are hosting a Rwandan-themed dinner to fundraise for field trips (visiting Denver and Chicago). Contact any middle schooler to get a ticket. Tickets are $18 for anyone older than elementary school and $9 for anyone in elementary school. You can pay by cash, check or venmo (@silvertonmiddleschool).

Animas Museum Celebrates Silverton's 150th Anniversary

San Juan County Historical Society will be joining friends and colleagues at the Animas Museum in Durango to commemorate Silverton’s 150th anniversary. This event will be part of the Animas Museum’s Second Saturday Seminar Series, focusing on the early history of Silverton and will be presented by local historians Charles DiFerdinando and Susan Jones. We hope this collaboration will be the first of many. This free event will be held in the classroom at the Animas Museum in Durango, or you can participate via Zoom.
