Repairing is Caring Sewing Class

Taught by Silverton's own seamstress extraordinaire, Cassandra Roof! @cassandrarita. Class size limited to SIX participants, DM to reserve your space TODAY!

$50 fee to join this mend and repair lab.

Bring your clothes and let's repair them! Fix seems, hem your pants, shorten or lengthen, add patches....

Bring in 2-3 items of clothing you would like to repair. We can help you fix them on the spot or talk about other solutions. Sewing machines, and assortment of needles & thread as well as scraps for patches will be available for your use.

This class is for the absolute beginner or someone with a pile of clothes they love that need some loving repair.

You will learn:

*Tie a tailor's knot

*Basic hand stitch

*Reattach a button

*How to hem your pants or skirt without a machine

*Fix a zipper that has come off its track

*Repair a hole with a patch

*Rethread a drawstring

*What belongs in a basic kit

*Washing clothes
