Visit the Mining Heritage Museum for a special celebration featuring a new exhibit about Ute history and culture, developed by the Silverton School 4th and 5th grade classes, the San Juan County Historical Society, the Ute Indian Museum, History Colorado and the Southern Ute Indian Museum. The museum will also showcase a special interactive traveling exhibit (available only on this one night) honoring the history of Silverton’s indigenous Ute people.
