San Juan Nature Hike

  • Andrews Lake Upper Parking Lot Forest Road 590A CO, 81301 United States (map)

Join San Juan Mountains Association staff and volunteers for an interpretive naturalist hike! Learn about wildflowers, ecology, wildlife, geology, and cultural history in our beautiful San Juan Mountains. This hike is offered every Friday starting June 7 through August 30.

The fun, fact-filled nature hike is moderate. We’ll be moving at a “walking” pace for around 1-2 miles. Wear walking shoes and clothing layers suitable for the mountain weather. Park at the upper lot at Andrews Lake (turn left before the main parking lot)

Cost: Free, but donations greatly appreciated!

What to Bring: Backpack with your water, snacks, camera, and binoculars. Bring hiking poles if you like using them. Sorry, we love our four-legged friends, but no pets allowed.

Registration is required. Register here.
