Using a Lichtenberg Fractal Wood Burning machine, watch as artist Janice Reich burns fractal patterns onto a gourd. Fractal patterns are branching tree-like patterns that are created by the passage of high voltage discharge along the surface of a gourd or wood.

Participants can watch this dramatic process, then check out some of Janice’s finished gourd art pieces inside The 9318 Collective.
